South Walton Honored with Official Hasbro MONOPOLY® Edition
Game features beach neighborhoods, natural wonders,
signature events and local businesses

SOUTH WALTON, Fla. (March 1, 2013)- How fun would it be to be able to buy up your favorite beach neighborhoods like Seaside, Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach? Starting later this month, fans of South Walton - loyal visitors and locals alike - will have the opportunity to become South Walton's next real estate tycoon with the launch of an official MONOPOLY® game for the destination.

Local game development and marketing company, 30A Games has worked closely with the South Walton Tourist Development Council (TDC) to create the MONOPOLY®: Visit South Walton Edition, an homege to the area, well-beloved for its unique beach neighborhoods, white sand beaches and turquoise waters.

MONOPOLY®: Visit South Walton Edition is an officially licensed Hasbro MONOPOLY® game customized to represent South Walton and its 16 beach neighborhoods.Classic MONOPOLY® properties such as Boardwalk and Park Place have been replaced by South Walton locales, natural wonders, signature events, art galleries and destination restaurants. Players will have a selection of game pieces, representative of South Walton, to navigate the board, such as a YOLO Board® stand-up paddle board or a sea turtle.

Beginning in late March the game may be purchased at the Visit South Walton Welcome Center at US 331 and US 98 as well as at specialty retailers across South Walton's 16 beach neighborhoods.
